Default So nothing about the guy who flew his plane into the IRS office?

thoughts?... some will say the guy was a nut. I read his letter and he makes some real valid points, then he had to screw it up and possibly kill people.....

all he did was probably help remove some part of the freedoms we have left

He may disagree with the government and that was his liberty...but he took it way too far...

The moment he took to the air and set out to destroy a building, he became a terrorist, nothing more. No, he wasn't acting in the interest of Allah, or some other reason, be he was trying to get a message across.

Hope hes better off dead than he was alive...

Ya, I would have totally been on his side had he not flew his plane into a govt building.... no better than the bombing of the Oklahoma building in my opinion

Nope, at least the casualties were not as high...One of my classmates mother works on the 4th floor of that building, shes fine.

I don't even agree with his manifesto..but thats something else. Another one of my classmates applauded this dude, I had to restrain from beating the crap out of him.

Todays attack was nothing short of what the dudes over in Iraq and Afganistan are doing. These guys think they are Martyr when all they are doing is giving everyone else the finger. Selfish prick. WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN ON US SOIL.

Whats funny is that dude is so left, and is pissed. Many of us are right, and are pissed. We are both ticked off at the same thing, generally, but have two different methods of rectifying the problem. One thing is for sure though, we cannot take care of a problem this way...If your going to off yourself because of it. Do it alone, you are no longer worthy of being called an American.

He said some things that sounded good but he also said some things that make him seem like an idiot. So many people put their lives (and finances) in other peoples hands, i.e., accountants and investors, and then wake up one day and wonder why they don't have any money left?
    Mind boggling to me.................

Here is a link to his story. http://www.statesman.com/blogs/conte...by_man_li.html

Most of what he says is extremely accurate with how our government/society works regarding the super rich vs everyone else. The super rich decide how we live our lives. If you disagree with that, you are blind to the facts of life or a moron.

I don't agree with the way he chose to handle his situation, however I also don't neccessarily disagree that "violence" might be the only way to change the problems at the top, until the super rich start "suffering" there will be more and more stories like this guy popping up.

I am not a world historian, however I believe something similar happened with the French Revolution where the common man was fed up with the BS of the super rich (Aristrocrats) and basically started killing them until they got the change they wanted.

    +1
Have any of you been on the receiving end of an IRS error? Until you have, dont be so quick to judge.
I dont agree with what he did but the "system" needs attention. If you pay attention you'll notice he did make several attempts to contact his politicians and handle it the proper way and was told to get bent. He certainly won that fight.

Wasn't there a revolt after the Revolutionary War where the soldiers returning home were getting forclosed on by the creditors?

If I remember right... the salty old farmers kicked the shit out of some bankers.... enough that they had to back off of "collections"

IDK- I have had a few concussions and it has been a few years since that class.

The more I hear I am the more I am believing that this is a real dude who went crazy. I do not belive the underwear bomber was a real deal, as the government after denying it finally admitted that they led the man past security and w/ no passport.

I think that this is terrible but I believe that he was pushed and pushed and took it into his own hands. Its pretty selfish of him though because it just hurts the progress of taking our country back. NORCOM would love a "bloody revolution". That would allow them to start taking more freedoms away and shoving people into the FEMA camps under "emergency" pretenses and HR645. Picking important issues and winable fights, civil disobedence, voting for non politicians, and talking about and documenting everytime your or your neighbors rights are under attack are the ways to take back our country. Not flying planes into buildings like a retarded muslim suicide bomber.

If the American people want to revolt. They should organize. Not saying a violent conflict is absolutely inappropriate, but the way this guy did it is.

If we do revolt, we better know what the hell we are doing, and have good solutions to the problems.

Again, even the entertainment of these type of individual retaliatory attacks cannot be allowed.
