The trivia question had several inner loops in it. Photo 1 was indeed of five time National Arenacross Champion Dennis Hawthorne... who was also signing for Robert Scruggs Sr. in Photo 3... who's son Robert Scruggs Jr, two days before, was on the gate at Freestone's night track for the National Amateur-Day Photo 6. ---- And the stumper photo of Jeff Marks on the Husky was indeed at Sayers Motorsports Park in San Antonio. The 8 National Championship Titles hints pointed towards the 5 from Dennis Hawthorne, and the 3 from San Antonio's Kent "The Rhinestone Cowboy" Howerton. The straight-up Baddest and Fastest motocross'er to ever come out of Texas, Kent its a 3-Time National Champion and an AMA Hall of Fame member. Sayers Motorsports Park was effectively known as Kent's home track, and was the location of his first ever race back in 1972.
Congrats to Jeffy Sue .........Please pm me your mailing address, so I can ship the Motorex Kit, Shock Sox, and a copy of BERM - The Texas Motocross Chronicles out to you.
