OK. This is my 3rd edit. I'm full of beer and thinking of younger days. Maybe there is another place called "Rabbit Run" Where is it?

The old Rabbit Run is under the city of Plano (I think that's the city I over heard the guys saying). But, we are opening a track on 377 just north of Pilot Point .002 miles and calling it Rabbit Run.

If you're calling it Rabbit Run, just give the name respect and give credit where credit is due. 2 thousandths of a mile north of Pilot point? Damn, that's some precise measurements. Let us know when it opens. Good luck.

I am not old enough (heh heh, nor from TX originally) to know anything about the original Rabbit Run, but I hear a lot of great guys raced there. I even took the time, out of curiosity, to look up old pics from races there of DeCoster, Hoffmaster, and others.

If you knew me at all, my 'measurements' of where the track is, is my guess because our driveway is just on the other side of the city limits sign and the county line. (My attempt at a little humor-hence the smiley face)

The track is cut in with several jumps, table tops, a step up, and rollers already done. I built a couple of berms yesterday and am heading out as soon as I get off the PC to go move more dirt before the rain comes in today! Last night I cleaned so much dirt out of my ears! haha

We will most definitely be announcing the opening date soon! Thank you!

Sassy...... here's a friendly suggestion for you guys. Call it Rabbit Run II. The original RR has a tremendous amount of nostalgia and history for many racers in Texas. For the sake of simplicity and confusion on which RR people talk about, maybe Rabbit Run II would be the way to go for the name.....it would be like someone opening a second Mosier Valley..... Just my thoughts looking In from the Outside. If you have a BERM book, you will see a great photo in it from 1976 of the crew that operated Rabbit Run -(Bermmietser's father and friends) Yes, it was on the exact border of Plano and Dallas county. Renner and Hwy 75 - (Nortel Telecom district area)

Really looking forward to checking it out when it opens!
A must have for all Texas motocross fans!
