3 palms ???

I had/have to work in houston this week and it went over this weekend till next week. Anyway, I had a few hrs off so I went up to check this place out. ( for the kids)

Well they wanted 24.00 to get in. I explained I just wanted to see the facility and i will leave. Well they said no way........ok whatever. (Gezz) Actually after that I dont know if I we will ever go there after that.

So my Q is how is this place? From the little that I saw looked cool. Track or the moto's(racing) seemed long, which my kids love.

I was only looking from the gate at the entrance.. Is it a hard or technical track.

What was cool was big bikes can jump up above 45.

Still, All I wanted to do is check the place out(10-15 min)and they basically said no fing way

What if 20 people wanted to just check the place out like you did. Assume about half of them had buddies in there that had bikes waiting on them to ride. It would be hard to go to a Cowboys game and tell them to just let you slip in for 15 minutes and check things out. I see where they are coming from.

They wanted to charge you $24 for just you,maybe if it was just a practice day or something they would have went for that,but werent they having the dealer challenge race this weekend?Even still $24 just for you?-outragous

Big weekend for them, they improbably were collecting for two days...12 dollar spectator, not bad for the pro racing out there...I bet if you had gone in they would have refunded for the 2nd day....

3Palms is IMO the best track in texas...I wish it was closer, I would live there...A MUST GO IF YOU RIDE!!! 4 different tracks, 4 different types of riding, so great.

It was like 1:00 pm . OK yea whatever just wanted to see the place. Explained the whole deal....kids race, down here for work, only have a few minutes(10-20) , quick walk through..... No way.

Anyway, back to the main Q's is it a really cool place ???

the other 98's dad here, Just said I wanted to look, I dont have much time. Wanted to see what it looked like and all that. Looked like a big crowd out there...only was able to watch the starts. Looked cool from what I saw.

Mathew also races BMX which was next door. Looked like a "dirt" riders paradise from the little that I saw.

The place kicks ass. Bring any age any skill and spend the whole day. Maybe two.
