    Default 2nd Annual Buffalo Creek-Shock Sox $10K 10-11-09

What a perfect event! The 2nd Annual Buffalo Creek - Shock Sox Easy Money AMA Pro Am went off without a hitch Sunday October 11th, in Canton, TX

Rain finally came with about 7 motos to go. The 2nd 450 pro moto was good ole fashion mud racing, and the Pro's earned their keep, thats for sure!

Jimmy Albertson won the "Wyman Priddy - Father of Texas Motocross" 450 class champion plaque. Albee was pretty much unstoppable in both 450 motos going 1-1 for the overall, and really complimented Buffalo Creek course.

Day 1: Shoot, get home from race, sleep.

    Step 4-
Edit butt off - 4.5 hrs
    Step 5- Export out (1280x720 @ 30 fps - 10 min)
Step 6- Upload, wait on vimeo. (hour +)

Ha ha ha, so it all started with Rwhite34. I think my problem is I go all the way to Step 15 and days 1-5 are work, sleep, work, sleep, oh and eat too. Thanks for the inside scoop on gettin ours out quicker. The big question is did you make any dough for the show? I don't think people realize how much work goes into gettin this stuff on a disk. I do, and kudos to ya Junk.

Haha np. Nah I had planned on getting it done that afternoon anyway, Rwhite34 has no influence hahah! Usually the trick is to get it captured and edited on Sunday night, but since I didn't get any sleep Saturday night I passed out when I got home. General rule for video is for every tape, it takes about 6 solid hours of production (capturing, editing, ext).

Dough? Nah. I learned long ago, as I am sure you are, there is no good money to be made shooting. Used to try and do that, but ain't worth it, to do it for real a TON of money would have to be spent and the demand is not there, yet. Most folks are not willing to pay for photos or video. I just go out, shoot, have a good time and bring it home to the folks at their desks. Although I have slightly more incentive to post free stuff,

I am thinking I may just put together a compilation DVD at the end of the year...But there is no way in hell I am recouping my cost in equipment, haha. Now trying shooting photos AND video, good times. Thx, lookin forward to see your stuff!
