Default BOTH (Beverage Of The Hour)

In the spirit of the FOTW, how about a BOTW thread?

I'll kick it off with my Beverage Of The Hour - a Manhattan:

Fill and chill a martini glass with ice.

    In a shaker, combine:

    9 parts Jim Beam
    1 part sweet vermouth

Stir, don't shake. Unless you like cloudy drinks. Empty ice from martini glass. Strain contents of shaker into glass.

    Garnish with a maraschino cherry.

Feel free to share your beverage of the hour, and try to keep it down to 1 per hour.

Not sure if I'm playing this correctly... by my drink of the hour would be:

Lynchburg Lemonade: Jack Daniel's® Tennessee whiskey, sweet and sour mix, triple sec and Sprite® soda

    Yum!

Yes, you are playing correctly. My recipe (in my head) for that is the same, just no Sprite®. I suppose a splash wouldn't hurt.

I bricked the BOTW (thinking FOTW), I meant BOTH. At least I got it right in the topic title. A drink a week is, well, weak.

Simple... like me. Is it considered low class to opt for four fingers instead of two? (this is a drinking questions you perverts)

From the giving end or the receiving end? I would expect it to be considered generous from the giving end.

I find it easier to apply the Shocker once a few Margarita's have been consumed by the recipient....

    1 1/2 oz 1800® Tequila
1/2 oz premium triple sec (preferably Cointreau)
    1 oz lime juice

Rum the rim of a ****tail glass with lime juice, and dip in salt. Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into the glass, and serve.

    BTW, Scotch is NASTY !

    Drive to QT.

Rustle up a few dollars in change from the floorboards, ash tray and backpack.

Grab a 40oz of your choice (Bud Ice is preffered). Make sure to get the paper bag - keeps it cold.

If you have enough change, grab a 99 cent taquito of your choice (Pepperjack cheese and chicken is preffered).

    Party.

To clarify - I'm after a Beverage Of The Hour here, as in something consumed within the hour.

I'm a little late with my BOTH for lunch, it was imported from Colorado by a friend who was there last week.

Staggering Elk Lager from Estes Park Brewery. Sort of like Bud Light with Lime or Miller Chill, but with a grapefruit flavor instead of lime. Good stuff.

Actual beverage of the hour: Shiner Bock

Coffee with a shot of Baileys.... great way to start a rainy morning.

I guess if you were hard core you could run it like SRV and start every day with a cup of coffee add a shot of Whiskcey and a pinch of cocaine
