    Very very sad....I use to listen to his stories when he would be in town and come by John Long's Husky of Dallas....this really makes me feel old

    ktm300, i believe the nickname came from him being a dark skinned italian.. he made a huge impact on the sport in the early 70's getting the Euro's over here for Trans Ama series, etc. and was always game for throwing something fun in at an event like the "corn-o-cross".. something the AMA is lacking these days!
