Well you could measure it and shave the foam down about a half inch after removing the seat cover or if you have the money order you an SDG low boy seat that is complete. They are about 180 or so here is the website WWW.SDGUSA.COM

i have heard that the SDG seats are kinda hit and miss when it comes to fitment. 50/50 chance that it will take more effort than anticipated to get it to fit.
but just what i heard.
Ive sold quite few SDG seats and none of them have had fitment issues.......and there not 180
My bad 117 the price I posted earlier is what I saw for one over at Yamaha Suzuki of Texas.

I had three. Two duds an one that fit well.Originally Posted by ktm300hater
The one I have didnt fit very good at first. Now it fits. The brackets weren't long enough so I had to force it down.
If the seat doesn't fit just right is there anything I can do to make it fit.. ie.. put the brackets ina vice or am I just out of luck???
how does it not fit what ids the problem is the bracket in too far or waht ????????????
Have you checked your race sag? Measure the bike from some point like the rear fender to a point on the swingarm, with the bike on a stand so the rear wheel is off the ground. Take bike off stand have someone hold the bike with you sitting on it, and measure the same 2 points. The difference should be somewhere between 100-110 mm or 4-4 1/8 inches. If theres not enough sag the bike will be taller, so its possible to do this and not have to change the seat at all. You can also gain a little by raising the forks in the clamps about 5mm. This will also make the bike turn better, as Yamahas are a little lazy turning anyway..................Originally Posted by dcarrell
Hey thanks Hater I will try that..
What I did on mine is just took the brackets off and bent them out a little and the seat fit just fine after that.Originally Posted by dcarrell
