Default Colton Parks - Spanky's son

If any of you guys know Spanky (owner of NTMX) his son went down pretty good tonight at Nocona (I believe)

    Stolen from the NTMX site

thanks for all the thoughts, prayers, and calls.

sorry for the spelling, its late at night, and not in the right mind as of now.

I'm sure he'll get on here to post more info as soon as he can.

thanks collin, actually he went down at NTMX. here is the rundown as of 6 am.
please say a prayer for colton, he went down in practice this morning, we spent the day in sherman then at 11pm he was careflighted to parkland. as of right now he is still in trama e.r. but he should have a room in the next few hrs. after they get all the results back. the kown damage so far is 4 broke vertebre in his mid back T7-11 i think, broken jaw, broken cheek bone, concussion, 2 busted eyelids, (recent eye surgery) and now he will have to have another surgery for his eyes(one is reallly messed up now!). lacerations to his lung, fluid in his pelvic area(waiting on tests to determine what is damaged causing this?). the nuero suergon came in earlier to check him out a little more, and found that he cant lift his legs due to pain in his tailbone area, and they will be checking that pretty soon. basicly he s beat up pretty bad.
poor kid hasnt had anything to eat or drink in over 24hrs, just incase they have to do surgery on his spine, or abdominal area, and has been on his back for about 16 hrs.
none of this seems critical at this time, but if you would, keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
sorry for the poor spelling, but i have been up way to many hrs, and i can barely hold my eyes open.
i actually fell asleep as i was posting this...from the parking garage at parkland.

thanks guys, i think we are in he right place. they are only concerned with his spine, we just seen another neuro surgeon, and that is their main concern, the other things will be ok. his spine will to, they are just putting all concern on it, that makes dad and mom real happy! cant say enough for parkland.

he was jumping "the gap" on the day track, a jump that was intended for int. and pros, he had done it many times on friday (against my wishes) sat morning he got up, tryed to hit it before even warming up, got out of shape came down hard over the bars face first into the ground, causing the facial damage and the broke vertebre's . this i a compession fracture...not good! i know we have all heard of a few people with these, who did not come out verry well.
just thankful that it came out this good.

Just sitting here thinking of how excited and happy my little buddy was after he did the gap and how scared daddy was...
He has been eyeballing the jump for about 3 months and finally got the nerve to hit it Friday evening flawlessly. Colton got over confident with himself early in the morning, Saturday.

Can can not express the importance of a proper warm-up before going BIG.

Hang in there, my little swiggle butt!
