    Default painting the engine

    i saw a 450 honda with a painted engine at the dunes i looks pretty sick any ideas on how to do it

    there are high temp spray paints, but most of them aren't gonna last long at all.

    Painting of the engine isn't really a good thing, the layers of paint will not let the heat leave the motor near as easy.

    Just polish that sucker.

    I thought polishing was the worst you could do to try and keep the engine cool.

    It is it will hold the heat in even more just like chrome does. That is why they do not chrome alternators anymore because they would get so hot. Heat means less efficient.
