    ~2012 ~

The Ankle Savers Munn Racing Team was in full swing. Chip Munn has done an outstanding job of fielding some top-flight talent, as well as giving some local 3-digit guys a home.

Josh Rogers, Derek Kemp (great to see back at the track), Big Dan, and Chip Munn (background) hard at it on race day.

Vann Martin leads Trey Canard and Matt Lemoine in the Division 1 heat race.

A little Division 1 first turn drama.

Scotty Wennerstrom and Lemoine await the water truck finale.

Zach Williams leads Trey Canard and Matt Lemoine in Moto #1.

Canard and Williams atop the rollers leading the rest of the field... heading for Swan's first down hill.

    Matt Lemoine Mid-Air Tear-off technique.

    Gannon Audette in stealth mode.

Lance Vincent drops into the scenic wooded section of Swan.

Word spread quickly that Trey Canard was in attendance and going to use the Pro Challenge for his return to racing. The Oklahoma factory Honda speedster spent much of his amateur days racing in Texas, just about every other weekend. It was great to see him back on Texas soil mixing it up like he so often did BITD. #41 Perfect form.

Tevin Tapia comes back out of the woods.

Mitchell Oldenburg would score a 10th on the day.

Dawson Draycott has landed under the Munn Rig, made the jump to the local Pro class and is at home signing autographs for the Pro Challenge spectators.

Swan has some really cool lane rhythm options.

    Dylan Pemberton made an appearance.

    Canard was shredding this rut.

Mid moto - mid pack battling ~ #73 Jon-Murray Barr leads #333 Cheyenne Harmon and #521 Michael Riner.

Zack Williams ran strong all day, taking home a 3rd on the day... then won the Sunday Pro class.

Lemoine gets the jump in Moto #2, and leads the onslaught down Swan's famous first downhill.

Kyle Regal was on display for a 5th on the day.

Mitchell Oldenburg leads Jeremy Huddleston and Cheyenne Harmon

Textbook... on his way to 1st place on the day.

Lemoine would end the day 2nd overall.

Oldenburg and Bud Moore in a mid-moto war.

Martin and Tapia try to keep Audette in check.

Bud Moore chose the Texas Pro Challenge to turn Pro back in 2006... 2012 was his 7th run at it.

Multi-time Off-Road Champion, Cheyenne Harmon would score a 15th on the day, not too bad for the Cross Country racer.

Vann Martin ~ 6th on the day.

At the end of the day, and to no surprise, it was Trey Canard in route to the Open Pro class win. This was Canard's very first race back after his SX injury... and the nicest guy in all-of-motocross even decide to donate his Saturday pro-purse money to Josh Demuth.

When the 2nd Pro moto concluded and the mechanics and racers had cleared the track... Multi-Time TEXAS PRO CHALLENGE WINNER and 4-Time Arenacross Chamipion, The Sherrif - Josh Demuth WALKED OUT onto Swan's start straight...ONE MORE TIME. When you think Pro Challenge, you think Mike Brown, Kevin Windham, Robby Reynard and of course JOSH DEMUTH. In the history of the Texas Pro Challenge, those four names stand above all else. It was great to see "The Sheriff" pay a nod of respect to this historic race!
Motocross delivers... Josh Demuth has delivered to us Texas moto-Fans since 1997.... every one of us that has lined the fence to spectate, or gate to race against him got to witness one of the baddest of the bad!

Very, very nicely done! All of the photos are great, I think the Bud Moore one close to the end is my favorite.

Lol, doesn't look like it's going to either. You know what they say, "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me". What do they say about fooling a third time.......oh wait, there will not be a 3rd time....
