Buffalo creek, 2 strokes, and beginners

Well for my first time out to the track this year I went and hit up buffalo creek yesterday with a kid from work that just started riding. Track was insanely good!!! First time I had been since the last round of changes. It was a lot more forgiving and a little less technical which is what a old weekend warrior like me needs these days (I'm 26 years old btw, lol). That being said it wasn't over groomed, several areas had some good chop left from previous days. Moisture was perfect! Lots of traction and rutted up nicely is several corners. Couldn't have asked for better conditions. Finally started to get a little dusty at 3pm. Anyway, felt sooo good to get back on the horse, it was worth all the pain I feel in my hamburger hands and through every inch of the rest of my body today!

There were tons of 2 strokes and what appeared to be beginners out there also. I mean I would bet that there was as many 2 stokes out there as there was 4 strokes! I was shocked and glad to see that the 2 stroke is most definitely still alive. Lots of beginners means that there are still new riders getting into the sport.

Anyway, had a great day and figured I'd share, motocross is awesome!!!

Awesome! Thats still a track Ive never been to, as soon as I get my bike this fall Ill have to make a trip! Thanks for sharing your experiance, sounds like a good time for sure!
