Open Sun and Mon at the Pit

We are open on the MX and trails... Putting lots of water down both days.... cleaned up the kids area and both tracks are resurfaced, pee-wee and pit. Open 9-8.. come ride the new layout if you haven't...

Don't confuse the two like I did today on Sunday. Sorry to the answering machine at MotoxPit - I saw this post and thought that might have been them open Sunday and Monday in spite of their voice recording. The good news is "The Pit" was close by and somewhat on my way home so I didn't waste an afternoon driving around with my bike in the back of the truck.

Never been to The Pit before. Not much sand which isn't necessarily a bad thing - More hard packed. It was watered but dried out by 1 pm. Bring an EZ Up - not much shade and bring toilet paper if you are feeling you might need to wipe at some point in the day as facilities are one PortaJohn. One double, a few table tops of various sizes and a couple step-ups makes for a good intermediate track. A few corners had both well-defined inside and outside grooves so you can pick and choose. Was good for a novice like myself to practice and try to get better.

There are some trails but didn't venture from the track. And there are some little tracks or remnants of the big track off to the side so little ones and beginners can ride at their own pace off the main track and feel comfortable.

Nothing broke and nobody got hurt. Even saw a friendly face make it out there. All made for a good day!
