What stands out to me the most is having all three, Travis Elliott, Chase Reed and Johnny Marley all on the gate. While they were on 80cc's.. those three use to put on some hellacious battles at Swan, Whitney and Mosier Valley each and every month! I can remember it like it was yesterday!

Im right there with you man! I was on 80's and in 80 open it was incredible how fast those dudes were. I was still riding 80's just when they moved up to 125's and the battles continued....I can remember some bad ass racing between chase reed and johnny Marley at the nationals at Whitney and Mosier back in the day. I still to this day say Marley had some of the best and fastest cornering technique Ive ever seen!
Thanks to SLM Racing in Arlington. They have been a huge help to me and been one of the best shops Ive ever encountered. They have been a nice suprise and greatly eased my learning curve. They made it easy for a rider who had been away from the sport for over 10 years to get right back in the swing of things.
Right on..!

Are there any fast kids around today for kids to remember?
Junk
+1 on this one Shandra. This is straight out of my era and brings back some great memories. I used to love watching the 90 and 155 battle every time the gate dropped. Clearly remember Chase passing Marley at mosier by trippling up the pro privateer. It was HUGE, total commitment.
All those years gone by and it looks like stewarts last race this year.
Him and tedesco look like malcolm and bogle this year. Nice post
i like how Ivan Tedesco pushed James at 17:05 ........just like Bogle to Malcom ten years later hahahahah
I miss 2 strokes..![]()
