im thinking about getting rid of my leatt and switching to alpinestar or the new atlas brace. what do yall think about the new atlas brace? it looks like a pretty good design, and my leatt is bothering my collar bone i broke a while back everytime i fall over. so what do y'all think?

I'm interested in a Atlas myself but I don't think anybody has ridden with one yet. I really like its design vs. a leatt. Sucks they are being sued already.

I use the Omega neck brace. Seems to work well. Here is a product review by MXA.

well i know Jake Weimer wears one and i seen some people wearing them on youtube, they look REALLY flimsy, but pretty good design.

I won't wear anything but an omega (soon to be Nexis) I have a plate in my collar bone that my old leatt used to push on but the omega doesn't even touch it.

As a recent joining member of the raised collar bone group I'd like to see how the Atlas sits on the body before buying one blindly. I may also be in the Nexis market if the Atlas sits like the Leatt.

I crashed on the sx track at underground today and my helmet pushed on my left collarbone where my plate is and the omega put zero pressure on my collarbone. I think I would have broke it if I wasnt wearing the brace

looks like a good design, just wish some side by side testing would be done on all the neck braces available.

didn't have a neck brace on when i broke my neck, now i won't ride without a leatt. then again, the leatt was
probably respsonsible for the collarbone break.
