    Default Underground MX Race Cancelled..

UGMX has decided to cancel the "A Day For Thanks Race" to prevent conflicts with other promoters in Texas. The track would be in great shape for racing tomorrow, but we are trying to better the sport in this area. Hope everyone heads out to Village this weekend for great racing. We will be putting our $5000 in prizes towards the opening round of the Blizzard series Dec 4th @ UGMX. We hope everyone can make it out.

Edit: If you have any questions about the race cancellation, please call Honda89 @ 214-793-0370

dave6.. I'll say after last monday, the other tracks probably do, and we may all be surprised to see the others will work on going forward more together.. it won't all happen at once, and it won't all be solved in 2012. But, I feel alot better about ALL our tracks around D/FW.. Underground is a leader and trend setter, and others have their ideas as well how to better RACING!! I believe in them.. Now we will see!

Funny thing about Doug Cucovatz, is Randy (Underground) has an idea to form a small group of riders he wants to meet with to discuss ideas with and from.. and that includes input from Doug himself. So perhaps Doug.. if you can keep your typing to yourself long enough to shut up, and meet with Randy, maybe it will satisfy the urge you seem to have troll Underground!! If not?? Well, I'm getting a little trigger happy, so....

It's interesting to me that Underground was criticized for rescheduling to Sunday for two reasons:

    1) Since Village raced on Sat + Sun this weekend, Underground was going to conflict on Saturday or Sunday
    2) the Village race on Sunday was a reschedule from an earlier date that was canceled due to drought. The potential Sunday conflict was between two tracks who both picked the date to schedule a make-up race due to weather that was out of their control.

We had planned to go to UG on Sat but decided at 5:30AM to go to Village instead (bikes were loaded, we were awake, and Sunday race wasn't an option this weekend). We had a good time racing, which is what it's all about...
