    Default New Riders

My son (11) and I are new to motocross and looking for a place close or at least reasonably close to San Antonio to start riding. Neither of us are looking to race but would like to ride on a track and do trail riding. I guess were looking for that family kind of track not someplace I have to fear for mine or my sons life.

Thanks and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I know you said you're in SA, but Cross Creek in Austin is a great place for all skill levels. Several tracks to choose from as well as some trails. I went out there last time I was visiting in New Braunfels and the track was fun. The water truck broke that morning, he apologized on the recorder as well as dropped the price for practice.

I believe Cycle Ranch has a mini-track too. Even if they don't, you can usually find a pretty quiet day out there to follow the little one around.

    Thanks for the input guys,

We have gone to Del Valle to let my son ride and I rented a 230 and really like it there but its a bit of a haul. I found a place called White Knuckle any feedback?
