Heidi Possin Benefit Race 4/23 at Underground MX

There will be a benefit ride/race for Heidi Possin on Saturday April 23rd at Underground MX in Kemp.

Heidi was seriously injured in July while racing at the Ponca Nationals in Oklahoma and suffered a major stroke in her brain stem and cerabellum. MANY of you know Heidi and her family. The medical cost incurred has been overwhelming for her. This benefit will be to assist with these medical bills.

Many of you know Heidi and we are grateful for the prayers and thoughts over the past months. Because of these prayers and support, Heidi's recovery has been a miracle.
Please come join us for a day of fun with riding, racing and just celebrating Heidi's recovery!!!

Heidi is also raffleing off her 2009 KX 250F as she can no longer ride. Tickets are now on sale!! $25 each or 5 for $100. Contact me, I'll get tickets to you. Drawing will be the day of the benefit. We are just one week out from the benefit ride for Heidi Possin. Flyers are at most DFW cycle shops or feel free to call me if you need more information. 903-530-8471. Lots of fun, silent auctions (GREAT STUFF), raffle for Heidi's 2009 KX 250 F, bike wash by Twin Peak Girls (weather permitting), please come have a fun day and help us help Heidi with her medical expenses.

Last update about the benefit ride. Underground MX will be open Friday for they're normal business. It's Good Friday and many people have off. If your coming to the benefit and want to go to the track Friday/Friday night, they will let you camp Friday night. $30 Full hook-up fees, or if you are self contained, free!!! If you arrive late and the gate is dummy locked, they said it was fine to just go in, but PLEASE dummy lock the gate behind you!!! Also, we will be "stickering" vehicles staying over, so please come back up Sat. morning and pay your entrance fee. This is a benefit.... If you go in time to ride Friday and know you will be staying over, let them know, you can pay Friday for Saturday.

Also.....the schedule on the flyer will be changed at our descretion according to the turn out on Saturday. Safety is our #1 concern. If the turn out is large, we will adhere to "ORGANIZED RIDES". If it is safe enough we will open up the schedule some for more riding time for everyone, but again, safety is #1.

Cycle Suspension will not be able to be on location due to an emergency. Keep them in your thoughts, they had a serious fire.

Big Hal's BBQ is supposed to be there, but has had some difficulty as well, so it might be smart to pack a cooler!

We had a really good time this past Saturday at Underground, lots of fun with some good people. The buddy races were cool, only 4 little guys but there were about 20 or more big guys. They even had a Pro Race, we weren't going to race until we noticed there were about 10 or more Pros on the gate! So we had to get in on it.
Heidi, her mom, and the whole family are very nice, and even though we had never met them before we really appreciate the chance to come out for a great time with great folks at a great track.
By the way, Hank Hill showed up, all the way from Arlen Texas and it was good stuff, I tell ya what.

It was a great time, the track was perfect awesome day for sure. It was great to meet Heidi and fam. Also does anyone know who was taken pics that day and where you can buy them from>
