    Default Tanner Heemsbergen benefit race

Hi guys, Amber here.... jacking Spanky's log in

I am organzing a benefit race out at our track for Tanner Heemsbergen. The Heemsbergen family have been good friends of ours for many years. I am going to have to coordinate with Spanky when they get back from Ponca for a date and will post up that info soon... I am going to need help to pull this off.. and thats where you come in! I want to make this as big as possible.. so I will need donations for give-a-ways and sponsors. If you have "hook ups" send them my way. If you are able to help call me. My cell is 940-395-7577. Call me so I can get a list going. Feel free to pass this info on.... the more people it reaches the better! Also... track owners.... help us out.. this is for a great cause. Todd and his family have touched many lives and bikes over the years..... let's pay them back for their dedication to our mx community. Being a small business owner is hard in this economy and I know they are going to need some big help... Tanner has a very long road to recovery and many more surgeries to go.

Thanks so much guys! Let's make this huge... call me!

Volkswagen of Corpus Christi (Eddie Lee - vdubdealer) is in for a grand! My daughter got ran over at this same track (probably the same blind jump) last year. The Heemburgen family are good people and knowing what the hospital in Austin charges, they are going to need a lot of money just to pay the deductible and balance billing those surgeons there charge. Trust me, I know! Best wishes to Tanner. Hopefully others will help with sponsorship of this benefit race.

    Default update

Wanted to update everyone on the status of the benefit race for Tanner Heemsbergen. We have scheduled the race for Sunday, August 29th at I-35 MX. ALL proceeds will go directly to the family.
    Sign up 7:30
    Practice 8:30
Races will begin right after practice.

We have been working hard on organizing the race and it is coming together great! We will have give aways, raffles, silent auctions, vendors, and even a bake sale.

Working on having a band out there and some bounce houses.

So far here is the list of goodies/pledges:
    Pistol Pete Wilding $100
    Shock Sox-product
    Motorex-product
10 free practices from River Valley

Verkins family- Pink Mountain Bike to raffle
MFTI/Jack Rhodes will be announcing the race

I would also like to thank the Toon family, The Verkins family, Ryan Bateman, Cara Harmon, Jordan w/ Eternal Roots, Jeremy Barton, Jennifer Nichols, and our staff at I-35 mx for all their help so far. You guys have been great in helping me and it is so appreciated! If I fogot to thank you I appoligize, but you know I appreciate your help in organizing this!

If you have a hook up ANYWHERE, get them in contact with me. I want this race to be BIG to show all of our support to this awesome MX family who have selfishly helped out so many over the years. Hook ups don't have to be MX related. Anything will work!

I got word that Tanner arrived home safely last night!!! I know they are happy to be home. I believe that Tanner has indured 10 surgeries thus far, and has a very long road ahead of him. Let's show him what OUR family can do!!!!

Call me on my cell at 940-395-7577 or email me at amberp1414@yahoo.com if you can help or can hook me up with someone.

Thanks so much and I will keep updating. I am also updating on I-35 MX's facebook page and you can follow there as well.

I'm looking forward to it. Todd H is as good of a guy as there is. I hope there is a huge turnout to help out a guy that's helped so many. I know me and the 616's will be there. Who else is in???

I'm going to head up there with Brandon for practice sat. Don't think I could do a race unless I could bring my camelback full of wine.
