Dillon is doing better. The therapy is definitely helping. He is better at conversations and actually started one the other day with a kid at therapy who was in a street bike accident. He is using words more appropriately, but then will ask what the word meant, which is kinda funny. We had a good weekend in Crockett with his dad. (That's where Charlie is working for now) Dillon seems to be a little happier also. I took him to his school today and he did recognize several people and remembered some of his teachers from last year which is wonderful!! He also was overwhelmed by how many people were there in one small hall way, and commented on how he was glad I was with him because he was a little scared. I think it was a good thing to do, and the teachers and coaches were real cool about him visiting and coming to see people. We are working on remembering what has gone on through out the day and trying to focus on learning instead of memories from the past. It is frustrating to him that he can't remember much of anything. He is having seizures more frequently, so I am keeping a close eye on that. They are not big seizures, but real small ones.
Still working on the benefit race, and have some help there now, so it is going much easier. Thanks for all the encouragement and help we are getting. It is so appreciated!!
