It's pretty close to Slide Road when you come into Lubbock from the track, I think. I know it's not further than 20 minutes. 12 minutes to get to Lubbock, 5-10 minutes to find the hotel. They do have a pool.

    Michael:
I hate that problems seem to keep coming up with the Invitational and dates and places. However, I'm sure you'll make the best of things and put on a good race at 211. I look forward to the race and hope everyone comes to have a good time and show the East riders who is boss.

On the last comment, that's just a good natured jab at our friends from the East. I'm sure they are all capable of competing and will give the riders from the West a chance to race against competitiors that they normally don't get to see much.

where can we see the current results from the east in the same fashion that 211 has them posted for the west?

I-35 website has the East and 211 has the West

Cool thanks. Looks like Nocona is only open until 4 today so without any practice I guess I'll be skipping this one as well. I was psyched because the website said they were doing saturday night practices but apparently that was only last week

There's practice before the races. Nocona always give everyone plenty of track time.

How much time is plenty of time? BTW, I've got a question for ya' Kasberg: can someone run a vet class under the max age? ie., if you were 40, could you enter the 25+ class or are you limited strictly to the 40+ class? Seems like in the past I've seen guys run both the 30+ and the 40+ classes at the same race but I wasn't sure.

If they have time, I've seen Nocona run 2 practices in the morning. The first one will be about 5 laps, the second about 2-3. If you only get one practice, you'll probably get around 6 laps or so.

And yes, vets can ride down. The age limits on vet classes are minimums. So, if you're 40, you can run all the classes. But, if you're 29, you can't run +30.
