This past weekend was the 3rd Rnd of the Sunbelt Series at Spring Valley MX Park. As mentioned in a couple of current threads on this site... back in 1980 the track hosted a $10,000 race...which drew a host of Texas Pro riders. Names such as Kirk Spencer, Mark Rakestraw, Mitch Milson, Darren Rhoten, Randy Sullivan, Derek Wedding, John Day, Ricky Blackwell, Mike Jones, Mel Newman, Dennis Brand, David McClain, Nick Cordova and host of other Texas Pro racers including National star and Factory rider Austin, TX's...
    Steve Stackable.

    The results were
125 Pro 1) Darren Rhoten 2) Mark Rakestraw 3) Derrick Wedding
250 Pro 1) Darren Rhoten 2) John Day 3) Kirk Spencer
Open Pro 1) John Day 2) Kirk Spencer 3) Chris Hipp

What happened to Steve Stackable in the first moto that took him out of any chance at an overall in the Open Pro class ?

Here we have Lynn Nickerson, LJ, and Robbie Reynard checking out the then, latest issue of TEX MX News.

What month and year was that issue?

Here we have Brad Woolsey aka LORD WOOLSEY running the national #84 in 1999 for Plano Honda.

What Outdoor National is he at?

Here we have a former Texas ace running in the dome.

    Who is this?

Here is an event T-Shirt I pulled out of my closet. The GNC Good Time National at Lake Whitney.

What Year was this event T-Shirt for?

Here we have a couple of "B" class riders a couple of years ago... #77 Alex Millican is running in 2nd place.

Who is in 1st place looking over at Alex?

They both run the Pro class now.

that looks like a 1991 KX250 on the goodtimes shirt-

that is most definitely Jason Edwards at the AstroDome in 93.

it looks like Guthrie in the back ground of the Reynard Nickerson picture which would have been in January after Fort worth (always on New Years weekend) LJ looks like he is 7 or 8 in the picture. I think he was maybe born in 86. so this has to be in 94-95.

I only rode 2 outdoor nationals that year on the Honda.

All right guys - Some pretty good analysis there from Lord Woolsey.... it's not that hard to throw out some guesses. It's still wide open!

Hint - two of the correct answers are displayed!!
