Default 1st Annual Aldridge Motorsports "Pro Showdown" at Village Creek Saturday

This Saturday's 1st Annual Aldridge Motorsports "Pro Showdown" at Village Creek should be one hell of a Pro race!

    $3,500 (minimum) Pro Purse

Tonight's practice had many fast dudes out RAILING. In no particular speed order.... the Pros I counted out getting everything dialed in tonight.

Josh Demuth - newly crowned AX Champion (4th AX Title)
    Joseph Marburger
    Taylor Painter
    Scotty Wennerstrom
    JJ Lumsden
    Scotty Trimble
    Derek Kemp
    Young Aaron $mith
    Sean Hackley
    .
    .
And I am sure I may have left out a few more.

Make plans to be at Village Creek Sat night for some great Pro-Am racing.

Lots of give aways, lots of cool racing. Come on 50 and 65 riders bring it and lets see some top racing also. This race will have a full schedule of classes. The weather is supposed to be great for Saturday night, even after the ton of rain over the weekend, the track last night was in perfect shape.

    See ya there

How will the pro payout work? I read that it is a guaranteed $3,500 pro purse with $1,500 to the 450 winner and $1,000 to the 250 winner. Will the remaining $,1000 be split up equally in both classes or will the 450 class get more? Is it 200% payout for the non-winners? You might want to pull Demuth's name off that list so that more pros will think they have a chance at the big prize.
With such a large difference between the money for 1st and 2nd place, I bet we get to see some great take-outs. I can't wait.

    GOOD QUESTION !

With the guaranteed $3,500 purse, Terry Cordray w/ Village Creek is going to put in the other $1,000 minimum. PLUS, we will be raising $$ from the crowd and pits. The money we raise out in the pits will not be paid to the 1st place winners, BUT will be spread out and paid to the 2nd place and beyond finishers, this will help pad more $$$ for all who do not win !!

The $1,500 and $1,000 to the winners is the way that Aldridge Motorsports wanted to commit to for this first "Pro Showdown".

We will raise $$ - and the guys that place 2nd through whatever place.....will still make way more money than they make on a normal weekend.

I will add this..... Hackley and Demuth were the two fastest out on the track last night. Both looked very strong, but Hackley was quicker. Suppose to be a SX format..... so, who knows what will happen between heats and a 15 lap main event (should be).

Hackley explosive and fast..or, Demuth fast and consistent...or, someone else stepping up and playing spoiler?????
