Default East vs. West Invitational Information

    When: August 28 - 30

    Where: Nocona MX - www.noconamx.com

Who: Top 15 riders from each series - those finishing outside the top 15 are considered alternates.

What: A shootout to determine the best in the state - and who has bragging rights for the year.

    Why: Because.

    Schedule:
Friday, August 28 (move in day)
-Gates open from 3 p.m. until midnight

    Saturday, August 29 (first motos)
    -Gates open at 7 a.m.
    -Practice from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
-Sign up open at 9 a.m.
    -Race practice from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
-First motos start at 6 p.m. under the lights

    Sunday, August 30 (second motos)
    -Gates open at 7 a.m.
    -Practice from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.
-Second motos start at 10:30 a.m.
    -Awards after each moto

    Important information:
Online sign up available at www.noconamx.com (does not guarantee gate pick)

You MUST have your invitation with you to sign up/check in
-If you are an alternate, you do not need an invitation

You are allowed to race ONLY the class(es) you qualified in
-If you move up a class, you are allowed to drop down for the Invitational

We will fill 30 gates. Anyone placing outside the top 15 in their qualifying series is considered an alternate. If there are open gates, we will fill them by calling up 16th place, then 17th, and so on.
-This year, since the Invitational is on the east side, we will call alternates beginning with the west side riders. Next year, this will be switched.

Below are the lists of every rider that is invited to the Invitational. Remember, you can ride practice even if you're not invited and if a rider does not show up, we will be calling for the next rider in line until we are either out of riders or out of gates.

    Riders Lists:
    2009 east invites
    2009 west invites
    2009 Alternates

Those on the alternate list are the ones currently guaranteed a spot on the gate at the Invitational.

As people sign up (or don't) we will call alternates. For instance, if the 125 Novice class only has 28 people signed up by the deadline, we will begin calling alternates over the loudspeaker until we fill the 30 gates.

Therefore, if you or your rider is only out of qualifying position by 2-5 spots, there is a good chance that you will be able to race.

The sign-in deadline will be 3 p.m. on Saturday - one hour before practice.

We are. Pros receive 200% payback as always, but this time, we'll do a minimum of $500 per class. On top of that, the top pro of the two classes will receive a special award.

Tha track was awsome and in goodshape. Really fun, However the pit-riding was just out of hand. I mean kids (6-10) year old type just screaming through the pits on their pit bikes. No helments nothing. Just peggin it throught tha pits like tha track had no pitbike rule. And kids driving golf carts and mules that could hardly reach tha pedals just had me flabergasted
