Well I am happy that got cleared up! Now what ever happened to the ride day?
You know, the purchase of a "service manual" for your bike would do worlds of good for the bike, you and your son. For under $50 on e-bay. That would be the cost of about 30 min.'s of time at a shop.

Swan is a great weekend get away for riding year round. The rv hook ups are included in the membership fee and thus makes for a great weekend get away to ride. The price is great, the riding is great...

My very first bike was a 1969 Yamaha twin cylinder 250cc street bike.
My first dirt bike was a 1974 Carabella 125.
At about the same time I picked up my son's first bike a Honda MR50.

Merge racing can do your forks or Piper can also do them. The carb cleaning is most like something you can do as most likely it just your pilot jet that is dirty. You can put in a new pilot jet or...
I use "grip glue" on the bar and I put a small hole in the end of each grip to allow the compressed air to excape while putting the grips on the bars. Never fails.

OK, a couple of things here first.
1. Reducing your front sprocket size will only shorten the life of the chain and thus the life of the sprockes will also be shorter. You want as big a front...
Do the math...Practice you get many more laps of riding time for about $20 than you do on a race day and then you have gate fees, class fees and it take one or two days to complete and maybe camping...

Look, I don't have a dog in this fight....My only purpose to be on this site is to find out the latest MX news, find Race results, and try to help some folks with bike problems. All the other BS is...
If you pickup a service manual for your bike and a few tools you can do it yourself and save a lot of money. Special tools needed would be a flywheel puller and a clutch holding tool. Then only...
Looks like the center gasket ( or sealer) has failed. The only way to fix it correctly is to split the case, clean and put a new gasket or Yamabond and put it back together. Do't try to just do a...
