Of course, the west side dominated. However, a great ride by Mason Smith (301 Suz) landed him a championship in the Schoolboy class. Congrats to him.

Alright he we go agian Sept 11th and the 12th the 3rd round at East Fork Mx practice Sat. 9am to 3pm and sign up will start 6pm practice 7:30 races as soon as the sun sets around 8:20pm. We will also be open for practice on the main track sunday from 9 to 2pm so come spend the night and ride both tracks tracks. We had alot of fun at the last round so come join us!!!! O ya pros yall ride for free. Dont worry I will take care of yall I always do!!:-P

The next scheduled race at Burleson MX Park will be September 12th. Practice starts @ 8am and Races start @ 9 am. Entry fee for the first class is $20 bucks and the second class is $10 bucks.

Gate fee is $6 per person

Just to let you know we are open for practice today and are watering the track now. It will dry quick so come early.

We have right at 200 members now and are looking to do some more track changes. We are offering 15 memberships. The membership is an annual membership. You have to purchase it in September. You tell me when you want to start the membership. The cost is $350.00 a year. Many of you that will be renewing or are just about to expire this would save you guys tons of money. It comes down to about $29 a month.

We are going to create a sand whoop/rhythem section and resand the entire track. If we can reach the entire amount we will also use the money for additional expansion on the trails. We hope you guys have enjoyed the consistancy of being open this summer and the consistant prepping and watering. The new changes we made a few months back have been enjoyed by many and we want to continue our success. Like we stated in the beginning back in 2007 our goal is to improve each month. I think we have continued to achieve that goal. It has been a tough road with the wonderful weather we have had over the last few years but the support has been awesome.

We will continue to do more races and continue to keep improving the dirt. It has come a long ways. Yes, it is all about the dirt BUT the community of riders that we have created have made it that much better. We have folks that come from all around from all different levels. Now having the ability to offer track, trails, and a mini track for the kiddos while doing races both cross country and track have brought a whole new level to the park. We are starting to have more folks crossover and do paintball, zip lines and laser tag. More and more members are starting to camp again creating a huge amount of comradery. Thank you again.

River Valley Mx will be OPEN for practice tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, September 4th and 5th. Track will be fully prepped and watered. All the jump faces and landings have been redone. Mother nature thru us a bone on the watering so like in the past after we get rain during the week the track should be at EPIC proportions.

We are going to try something that has never been done before. On Saturday night for those that want to come out and spend the night we are having a Texas "Hold Em" poker tournament. 60 degrees tonight and 59 Saturday night, with low 90's on Sunday. What a great break in the weather here in North Texas Mother Nature rains helped in watering the track. Moisture is good in the dirt.
