I was talking to a guy who used to race at WTMXP. He said the track was a lot of sand. Is it still that way?

Our dirt is a sandy loam but no straight sand. When the wind allows us to water properly it is some of the best racing dirt around. We have an automated sprinkler system that waters the track, similar to the golf courses. We do not use a water truck. So with this in mind if the wind is blowing 30 mph it does not get watered properly and at times may be dry. When wet, plowed and raked most that come for the first time comment on how awsome the dirt is. Our track facilities is not the prettiest around but the track itself is awsome.

I have tried to email the guys listed on the WTMXP web site a couple of times with no response. Any idea what time will practice run on Saturday?

At Panther, we will be running practice from 10-3 or something like that. We still need to work out those times.

I don't know about WTMXP...I will find out as soon as I can and post up.

I will be at school and work until 6 tonight though, so if you want, you can call Mike Roark to find out.

I emailed Mike and he got back to me on the 2nd. Here's his reply.Practice on Saturday will be 9 am to 3 pm. I don't know what Panther Creek or 211 will do on their practice Saturdays, but on our race, we will charge $15 for practice on Saturday. Sunday's race will cost $25 per class to race with a $6 gate fee. On Saturday, there will be no additional gate fee.
