I just found out I have 3-4 herniated discs. Has anybody on here had this condition and what type of treatments were given to you???? Mine will be ok then all of the sudden it flairs up and will put you right down on the ground...

My wife has the same problem. She gets floored about once or twice a year but the rest of the time shes fine. Last time she was in bed about a week. She goes to therapy and it helps some. Next step for her in injections and then surgery if that doesn't work.

I've been dealing with mine for years. It always hurts some but when it flairs up it is very bad.. I was wondering if anyone has gone thru this and is now ok?? I'm considering not riding anymore but that isn't the only thing that aggravates it.. I stopped riding for about 3 years amd i got to where I couldn't hardly move. I think the riding actually helps excercise that area but I'm so tired of the pain...

Herniated disks suck...I found riding actually helps, but pulling your bike on and off the stand and loading/unloading your stuff kills it (bending over, lifting weight)...So, a low sitting truck and a bike lift stand (the kind you operate with your foot), help a ton...

I've just gotten use to the constant dull pain and the sharp pain when I aggravate it...You are going to laugh but I spend about 5 min on an inversion table every day and it works wonders...Also, try laying on a flat surface where you can hold onto a solid surface like the edge of a bed or the side of a couch, try rolling over and putting pressure on your spine till it pops like the joints in your fingers...My back gets really tight, and every day or so I do that and pop all the joints up my spine and its an instant relief.

I couldnt imagine having 4, I only have two herniated and a hand full bulging.

PS, wife, good for you blue!
