Troy Lee Designs adds Gavin Gracyk to its Supercross Lites Team

Gavin Gracyk, a breakthrough rider in the Outdoor Nationals this summer, will join Chris Gosselaar on Team Troy Lee Designs Honda. Both riders will be competing in the AMA West Coast Supercross Lites series.

Gavin really deserves the opportunity of a Supercross ride after he showcased excellent potential and skill during TLD's unique try-out process. With two riders on the team, TLD will now focus on achieving goals of top results, brand authentication, product development, and exposure for sponsors with a solid technical and marketing package.

The team has already begun initial testing, and will be using the US Open as a team debut with Chris Gosselaar as well as a race condition shakedown of the initial bike setup.

Look for Team Troy Lee Designs to make its highly anticipated Supercross debut with Gosselaar and Gracyk at Angels Stadium in Anaheim on January 5th, 2008.

Just how good is Gracyk anyway? He gets a lot of publicity, but I don't really remember him winning a lot of races. Maybe I am just dumb. Yeh, thats it.

Just because he's not winning races all over, doesnt mean he's not any good.He actually had a pretty good year last year and some good battles-he's just a kid that needs a break, looks like he got it-so lets see what he does with it.I bet you hear alot more about him this year.

Gavyn was supposed to be the next hottest thing back in 2003 but had a hard time transitioning to the pro class and took a little while to catch fire. He won alo of races on minibikes and Intermediate classes.

I give the guy a lot of respect because he has had some great rides this year despite dealing with loosing his dad slowly to Lou Gerrigs disease. (Dr's have given him less than year to live at this point)
