Getting back to hobbies, I'm kind of an outsider on this list since I still haven't graduated from bicycle to motorcycle yet.

Then there is model trains and railroad photography, and if computers can be considered a hobby that's one too.

Oh, and I every other month or so I get together with some guys for Texas Hold 'em though I personally prefer 7 card stud.

I've never hosted the game. It's always been with UTA coworkers. Back in the 90's it was mostly network group employees and dealer's choice for type of game. More recently it's been unix group employees and just Texas Hold 'em.

I don't plan to host a game until I can get the table I am after. Must be round, and at least 60" diameter, preferably 72". Haven't shopped for one for a while.

My favorite is the North Shore Trail at Lake Grapevine but it's still flooded. It should be open sometime in October. Johnson Branch, north of Denton is good also.
