dnfs and dns

whats with all of the DNFS and DNSs at glen helen...i didnt hear about anybody getting transported to the hospital, did all those bikes blow up? i think work ethic is a big problem...i had a kid tell me a few weeks ago after a DNF at a national, "i was over it" what if these teams where over writing paychecks to riders who cant finish races...some of these guys wonder why they cant get a ride...or lose their ride soon after the first season...believe me...when you stop trying because your over it...they know you stopped trying

I heard that comment a couple times myself. it's amazing what you'll hear if you stand close enough to the mechanics area.
