Yes, MX44 (Nalley) did take a nasty spill that had everyone very concerned yesterday. He was unconscious for a while, he did come too there at the track eventually, and was flown to JPS for Brain Scan which THANKFULLY came back negative!

I want to thank everyone out at Oak Hill for the prayers, and concernes. Paul and his medic staff, Rwhite, Jef Oldenburg and several others,....were all quick on the scene and did an OUTSTANDING JOB taking care of the situation. AND A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to MXBANDIT (mike walsh) for stopping in his moto, and clearly realizing it was a serious situation, and trying to tend to Nalley.

Nalley was released from the hospital late last night as he insisted he wanted to go home. Word on the streets is.. he now has 2 black eyes from his wife for the scare! (just kidding)

He will be off of the mc's for a good while...but will look forward to seeing everyone at the MS150 Bike ride here in a couple of months.

Thanks again everyone!

Good to hear he's ok. Where abouts on the track did he go down?

Between 6 and 7. before the old finish line section where you have the optional hump on the inside then the double- single. He got together with someone and fell after the double into the face of the third jump.

Hey guys, thanks for all the well wishes. It appears that someone jumped into my line on Sunday and we collided in the air. The gentleman that hit me called yesterday to apologize and it was not intentional. He didn't hear me coming and jumped from left to right. He has a mark on his right side panel where my front tire hit his bike in the air. It is just one of those things that happens. I am going to be ok, I am stll very sore and dont remember much about the first 37 years of my life. Just kidding....the whole weekend is pretty much gone and I still feel pretty spacy, but the CT scan was negative which means I dont have any bleeding or severe swelling of the brain. This is certainly not the first concussion I have had, but is probably the worst. The paramedic told my wife that I was completely out for about four to five minutes. Evidently, I kinda weirded out in the hospital Sunday as well.

I have received a bunch of calls and emails from people checking up and I really appreciate it. The #118 for stopping on the track to check on me and everyone that helped the wife put everything away in the RV. I owe you all one.

Unfortunately, this is another realization that this sport that we all love so much is a bit dangerous at times. I consider myself lucky. I wish I had the same passion for golf, pro sports, or something else in life that would have pulled me out of this years ago. Things like this force you to evaluate.

Be careful out there!

By the way, I was wearing a Leatt brace and my neck is still very sore.

Thanks again to everyone! Brent Nalley aka MX44

How are YOU feeling buddy?

Nalley, glad to hear you are ok. Like Hater says... there comes a time when enough is enough. My limit was last year as well. Hope your noggin' clears up soon. Hang in there.

I am feeling better today. Still a little off, sore and have a slight headache. I still have CMS as well (Can't Member Shit). I think the fog will continue to clear up over the next few days. Thanks for asking!

Glad to hear you're okay Brent. A rule of thumb for time off the bike is a month for every minute that you were out. Take the time to heal up because as we age, we become more susceptible to concussions and concussions become easily more severe.
