Does anyone have an update on Aaron Smith? He went down really hard on the finish line at VC last night. He packed up and left before I could talk to him. :(

Knee problem...maybe MCL/ACL .. not sure yet, waiting on the word. He said he almost saved it... the crash also broke his knee brace...which ultimatly is a good thing.

I talked to Aaron and his Dad last night here at JPS hospital, he was here getting is knee x-rayed, no broken bones but will need an MRI to gage ligament damage. I believe he said he had an appointment today or tomorrow. Thomas and Aaron have been close friends for a lot of years now, and I am praying for a quick recovery for him. He has been checking on Thomas regularly so I will let you know about his knee when I hear from him.

Thanks for everyones well wishes....This just sucks. What looked like a whip was actually my rear end catching the edge of the finish line which threw it out to the left. I was flying through the air completely perpendicular to the jump...as soon as i hit the ground it shot me off the bike. I tried to bail at the last minute but it didn't work. I caught the inside of my left foot on the ground and it popped my leg out. I'm scheduled for an appointment with in the next week. They have to let some of the swelling go down. Ill keep everyone posted and thanks again everyone.

MCL/ACL/schemCL...you don't need those silly things! I did w/o mine for almost 2yrs. Now if you get a torn rotator cuff, that could pose a prob...can't lift your elec Lemonade...however, you may have to risk your man-card & just go ahead & drink thru a straw!

Aaron, you really need to call Chaz, We had ACL surgery in October and he was released to ride end of February! There are many different things we did, give us a call! Dr. Binzer is the best in this area!
