I am considering making the nasty switch to Nikon thanks to Rage.
Canon MK II 1D - $2400 (this hurts, paid $4k)
Canon f2.8 70-200mm IS L - $1200
Canon f2.8 15mm L (fisheye) - $500
Canon f2.8 28-70mm L $700
Canon f1.4 50mm USM $250
Canon Speedlite 580EXII - $400
Canon 17-40mm F4 L - $450
Canon Rebel XTi (black) - $500
edit. left off the 17-40mm.

If I were you I'd throw this out over at TPF, too. You'll probably get a lot more nibbles over there.

Selling the stuff is the easy part - finding a D3 is the hard part - I had to got to Tampa, FL to buy it in New York - go figure

I'm saving up now for a D3. Hope to have one this summer.
Rage - kinda glad it was you that got him to switch. I have to work with Bec and I think she would have killed me. LOL!

I knew you would switch to the darkside, my trusty N8008 has never let me down.

i have a line on one, surely you knew that.....
but in all honesty the game plan is to upgrade to SOMETHING. i'll stay canon if i have to but the MK II has to go if i plan to remain competitive indoors (as if i ever was). this high ISO BS is gonna make taking indoors shot as simple as point and shoot. why should have i to work twice as hard, i'm lazy!
