MY BROTHER HAS A 05 KXF250 AND WHEN YOU LET OUT ON THE CLUTCH IT JUST INSTANTLY ENGAGES IT WONT SLIP AT ALL. JUST ALL THE WAY ENGAGED OR ALL THE WAY DISENGAGED.ANY SUGGESTIONS?

OK, kinda vague. Does he have about a 1/8 inch of play between the lever and perch?

Dose the clutch engage when the lever moves away from the grip or from out near the end of stroke?

More info please.

His clutch basket is grooved.

check the clutch basket and inner hub for notches....also check to see if you have a broken fiber plate, the culprit is more than likely a notched basket tho

the 05 250f also had shims on the actuator might wanna ckeck that they are there

His clutch basket is grooved.

What are they making Baskets out of these days? My 500 I get, but a tiddler 4 stk? WTF?

Just more for us already broke moto'ers to pay for.Already way over priced bikes to begin with but then cheap parts that wear quick and cost to much.even if you go aftermarket you will get a better part but it just costs even more.I wish 4 strokes were as cheap(money wise) to repair as the good ole 2 smokers.Anyway.
They are right, more than likely your clutch basket has 6 grooves in each ear and wont let your plates slide.
