Awesome.

Don't know the names but this era of mx is what put the mx thing in my head. I can still see the bad mx mag tear off posters on my wall in my bedroom.

Keep them coming CoachBoilerMaker.

Now that was some good times. I didn't see our local vintage racer "Dee Crump". You all know she will be on here bashing that her name wasn't mentioned, just like the book.

LOL, yeah some of them shaved the backs of their hands.

Reminds me of a time when a buddy of mine was dancing with a "hot chick" at July Alley and when he came back to sit down with the rest of us and I informed him that the hot chick was actually a dude. Talk about beer goggles!

Yep thats when Lake Whitney was the bomb and moto was bad ass,not like so many of the premadanas we see today........I can remember riding the bikes down the hill to the river to wash them off,the pits were full off trees, and the track was the way it was and that was it,pot holes, braking bumps,DUSTY as hell, and you delt with it..........I still have pic`s from the `76 nationals at Whitney..............Those were the days.

Many of us would drive to Whitney during the 80's on non-race weekends just for the open practice...dry, rutted and bombed-out....Perfect :)
