2010 KX 450 cut out no reason.

Has anyon had there KX 450R 2010 shut down out of no where? And if so did they have it fixed? What was the problem?

check to make sure the tipover sensor hasnt came loose. Its under the tank mounted to the frame.

While you are doing the above, also check the other wiring under the tank. I have read of some wiring issues on this bike. The wires chaf and then short to the frame. ( Also check out Thumper Talk to review this issue that maybe others have had.)

We did have a 450 do this in 2009. A fuel pump broke in half. If you take off the tank and fuel runs out the tank, the pump has broken. However, this problem may have only been on the 09. I think they changed the fuel pump for 2010.
