I know it's not MX, but the reason I wanted it is because when I was a kid and couldn't ride my motorcycle, I used to pretend my BMX bicycle was my moto bike. This is my old fart equivalent to my childhood BMX bicycle. Sort of a pit bike for the street. I found this seized up '73 RD 350 on craigslist for $550 in Albuquerque. I drove all the way out there to pick it up in a weekend. I tore it all the way apart and rebuilt the top end. Lo and behold, the sumbitch starts on the first kick. I'm going to cafe racer the shit out of it, but for now, I have a street legal 2 stroke. Does anyone else out there like to fill the neighborhood with blue smoke?

I think it's time to get rid of the Harley

Holy shit. I'd kill myself if i passed up an RZ 500 for that price. I really wanted an rz 350, but couldn't afford one. And yea, I've seen that design for a late model smoker. I really hope they build one for production.

Ha ha. yea. I bought her seized on the top end. I removed the oil injection pump to run premix and eliminated the stock air box to run uni filter pods. It came with 25 pilots and 140 mains. I now have 45 pilots and 180 mains just to be safe. Once i build the expansion chambers, I'll focus on jetting. And compared to my Harley, it's not only fun in a straight line, but turns like my bicycle!

I want to see more fabrication pics.

I don't have any more in progress pics, but to start, there was alot of math involved. I had the aid of a book and 2 software programs to get my layout. I rolled the cones by using a rubber mallet and various diameter pieces of pipe clamped in a vise as an anvil, but a slip roll would have been very useful. I tacked them all together, then TIG welded all the seams with an internal argon purge. PM me if you want more details. I haven't had it on the road yet, because I took off the stock foot pegs and I'm making rearsets. I also cut off the welds at the kickstand mount and will have to relocate it. Hopefully this weekend, I'll have some pegs mounted and test ride it and post a vid. It starts on the first kick, but sounds like a brick of firecrackers going off. I plan to build some cans to subdue the sound a little.

how long did it take to make them? About 40 hours of actual metal work and I couldn't tell you how much in research and poster board prototypes.

Anyone know of a place to Dyno this thing just to see a chart? Seat of the pants is all I really care about, but I'd be interested in some hard numbers if it didn't cost a shitload.

It's comin' along. Feels close to a 125 MXer.

It's almost ready to put #67 on the rear plates. Last week I blasted by a Team Green truck on my way home from a welding job. I took some side roads through a neighborhood close to home and saw the same truck in a driveway. Which one one of you guys is a Kwaker rep/ mechanic or something that lives in the N. Azle, Reno, Briar Area. I almost pulled into your driveway.
