We were out racing at RVMX in the Texas Series today and Ian high-sided and went over...with the bike coming down on top of him. He ended up braking his collarbone. This is his first broken bone, and from what the doctor told us today, if you're going to break a bone, this is the fastest one to heal. Hopefully he'll be back out there in 6 or 8 weeks.

I think it was Shakespeare who said "There are only two types of motocrossers - those who have broken a collar bone and those who will."

My 7 year old broke his on Memorial Day and yesterday was his first day back on the bike.

Broke mine @ RVMX 2 weeks ago...had surgery to put a plate and 6 screws in it...was completely shattered but surprisingly, was not very painful...its more annoying then anything since you cant move your shoulder or arm at all, God bless vicodin....Glad to hear that he healed up and is back on the bike....ive got about another month to month.5 to go.
