06 kx 250 2 smoke

The tip on my stark plug broke off and chewed up the piston and the cylinder head...Cant find the little medal piece is it possible it went out the exaust? And does anyone have a cylinder head or know when i can get a good deal on one? Thanks

Ebay, Thats a gamble, I would think and I am no expert at all. depends on how the cylinder looks. If its super gashed it could be bad.

it happens with age sometimes.... is the cyclinder scarred or just the head? If it is just the head you could take it to Piper and let him fix and make it faster at the same time by re working the "dome". Otherwise I would start by looking at Bates Cycle Salvage. there are 2 locations. You might also see if the XTGreen guys have one by chance.

Bobby Parry might also have one at Heart Beat Racing since the rode one last year.

It could be that the crush washer was so collapsed the the piston made contact... highly unlikely though.

Make sure that the tip of the plug doeasn't stick down past the surface of the head.
